What is ERP for wholesale and distribution?
Wholesale and distribution ERP connects sales orders, pricing, purchasing, stock, the warehouse and finance in one system, so a distributor can promise stock accurately, buy at the right time and invoice what was actually despatched.
Does Axera replace our accounting software?
Axera covers operational finance: invoices, credit notes, VAT codes, posting groups, a chart of accounts, credit control and month locks. Talk to us about how your existing accounting and reporting will fit alongside it before you plan a rollout.
Can Axera manage trade pricing?
Yes. Price books hold customer and channel pricing, and a default price book can be assigned to a sales channel such as Shopify.
How does Axera help with credit control?
Customer payment profiles show outstanding balances, credit limits and available credit, and orders can be placed on credit hold. The finance dashboard lists overdue invoices, credit holds and the next actions to take.
Can suppliers and customers log in?
Yes, on Growth and Scale plans. Supplier and customer portal accounts are free and do not count as paid users, and suppliers can manage their deliveries through the supplier portal.
Do we need a separate WMS?
No. Axera includes a full warehouse management system with scan-confirmed receiving, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch, returns and cycle counting.
How big a business is Axera for?
Standard plans suit UK wholesalers and distributors with one to 3 warehouses and up to 200 internal staff users. Larger operations can scope a dedicated instance through Custom Integration.
How much does Axera cost?
Guide pricing starts at £950 a month for the platform plus £70 a month per internal staff user, excluding VAT. Supplier and customer portal users are free. Every installation is quoted individually after a demo.
